Retail Salesperson (Budtender at KG On the Hill)

Position Summary

We are excited to announce that we are opening a new Kind Goods dispensary in a neighborhood well-known as The Hill! As an Experienced Commission Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in our new store’s success, leveraging your expert sales skills to deliver exceptional results.

With 3-5 years of retail sales experience in an hourly-plus-commission environment, you excel at identifying opportunities, closing deals, and making every customer interaction impactful. Our success thrives on outstanding customer service and going above and beyond, and you’ll be at the forefront of this effort. Your primary focus will be on managing a high volume of transactions, where your dedication to exceptional service and your talent for upselling will set you apart and drive our store's performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage customers with enthusiasm, offering guidance and information on cannabis products.

• Create a friendly and inviting atmosphere, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

• Drive sales by identifying customer needs and upselling relevant products.

• Maintain an organized and efficient checkout process.

• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process sales transactions.

• Handle cash and electronic payments with precision and efficiency.

• Opening and closing procedures:

• Breakdown registers at the end of shift.

• Ensure that regulatory logs are completed on a regular basis

• Fulfilling Online Orders before opening and throughout shift.

• Receive coaching, which will provide constructive feedback using customer interaction scorecards and guidance to support growth and development.

• Perform double-checks to ensure quality control when necessary.

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, display cases, and customer areas.

• Regularly sanitize workspaces and restock supplies to uphold a hygienic environment.

• Work in the security/reception office, answering phone calls, welcoming and admitting customers.

• Schedule appointments and consultations.

• Verify customer identification and manage check-in processes.

• Receive and verify incoming product shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and collaborate with the inventory team to maintain stock levels.

• Stay informed about cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.

• Educate customers on product characteristics, effects, and usage.

• Ensure strict compliance with local and state regulations governing cannabis sales.

• Uphold dispensary policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
